Books and Buckets Strategic Plan

City Fabrick partnered with Books and Buckets, a Long Beach youth leadership development organization, to craft a multi-year strategic plan aimed at accommodating future demand and growth.

Focused on empowering underserved youth in the Washington neighborhood through academics, athletics, and advocacy, Books and Buckets is dedicated to creating local impact in the Washington neighborhood. To ensure the strategic plan was deeply informed by the community it serves, City Fabrick led comprehensive engagement efforts. This included working closely with Washington neighborhood youth, Books & Buckets staff, community leaders, funders, and peer organizations. The resulting strategic plan provides a clear roadmap for Books and Buckets to expand its impact while staying true to its hyper-local mission. It highlights the organization’s achievements, shares inspiring case studies, and offers targeted recommendations for strategic growth, ensuring that Books and Buckets can continue to serve the youth and families of the Washington neighborhood effectively.
