Graphic
The graphic concept for Lake House emerged from the original Victorian-era McArthur Park Lake, which was surrounded by boat houses, palm-lined streets, boat rentals, and pedestrian promenades. The brand identity features historic imagery of the neighborhood, lakeside imagery and symbolism, and Victorian illustrative elements, combined into collage-style graphics. The Lake House logo uses a sans serif typeface that draws some inspiration from traditional advertising signs. The minimalistic design of the wordmark logo allows for balance and contrast with the detailed and expressive supporting graphics elements. The brand colors were selected to compliment the building’s architecture and interior finishes.
