Scottish Rite Community Garden

With the growing urgency to address food insecurity during COVID-19, City Fabrick supported the development of a new community garden at the Scottish Rite Temple located in Downtown Long Beach.

Leveraging CARES Act funding provided by the City of Long Beach and an unpaved portion of the Scottish Rite property, City Fabrick designed a productive landscape consisting of a dozen raised planter beds and an urban orchard that will produce fruit and vegetables for distribution to community members with limited access to healthy foods.
