This communications program provides graphic design support to organizations educating the public about the relationships between the physical environment and economic, environmental, social and physical health, using locally relevant data and information.

This has included working with community partners to craft everything from fliers and social media posts to branding and development of awareness campaigns, while also building their capacity through our graphic design 101 courses. City Fabrick has developed mapping and infographics used to share complex information in a pictorial form, breaking down information that more easily cross language barriers and literacy levels. These are part of campaigns tailored to a geographically defined area so that the information is most relevant to the local residents. To reach the broadest constituencies, the program employs a range of distribution methods, from “high-bandwidth” internet-based channels like social media and mobile technology, to “low-bandwidth” channels like street art, magazines and postcards.
